FAQ

Diecast models are made from a metal called ZAMAK. ZAMAK is an alloy, made from aluminum and zinc. It's most common use is making scale models whether it be cars, trains or planes although many other things are made using this process.

Steel casting blocks are created and the molten metal is poured in. It hardens in the shape of the mold. The metal body is then polished using a vibrating tumbler and then washed. The diecast metal body is then primered and painted. The plastic pieces such as the interior are created using injection-molding. Once all the pieces come together you have a complete diecast car.
